Valspar - WetLook concrete sealer is NOT WetLook
Applied 7 Gallons of WetLook Sealer on my stamp concrete patio. Valspar claims and guarantee that once you apply the second coat and the product cures (24 hours), the concrete will have a WetLook - like picture on the product's label.
That is not what I got after I applied their product and followed instructions exactly.
Contacted their Customer Service by phone and filled a complaint and sent pictures to support my complaint. No response yet with a resolution.
As product did not produce the result expected and stated by Valspar - I expect a full refund for product, so that I can look for other options. And all this after wasting 2 full days with application.
Attached photo with concrete look after applying 2 coats of product. WetLook is non-existent.
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
Monetary Loss: $202.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Valspar Cons: Product did not perform as advertised.

Valspar refunded the money spent on their product. The only thing - I wasted almost two days on this project!
I understand the predicament I got myself into. I am in contact with Valspar to find a workable resolution. Still - regardless - I spent so much time on this project...and TIME IS NOT FREE!
This is exactly why you shouldn't buy from the cheap diy home improvement stores! That product has almost no solids in it.
The scam is that they can claim improper application or the substrate, (the concrete) was too porous and absorbed the product. Good luck is all I can say. They leave themselves (Valspar that is) an awful lot of "outs" in their warranty and product claims.
And now they are owned by Sherwin Williams it will get much worse. SW pays out on less than .5% of all warranty claims.
I expect Valspar figures if they ignore your complaint you will go away eventually. I doubt they would refund your money as their excuse would be that you did not follow the proper application procedures, the typical response.
