We bought Valspar paint in many colors/. We painted the kitchen first?. We bought the primer that was recommended and they mixed our red|. I painted and it didn't dry,. I called the Valspar rep and like everyone else I got the run around;. I was told it was b/c the paint was red and it's hard to use". Trusting them (dummy me) I painted the rest of the house in numerous colors?. Not one dried right.
Lowe's did give me some money for the paint ($38.00 a gallon was what I paid for it) but I am left w/a mess. I am disabled and I needed help the first time. How am I suppose to pay someone to come back and repaint.
I am so upset w/Valspar. Oh, I was suppose to have a rep come to my home and check out the paint. On four different occasions I waited all day for them to come. No one came or called.
I guess I should have looked on this site before painting.
I, too, feel like standing at Lowe's painting counter and telling everyone how I got screwed. I wonder how much money Valspar would lose. Not as much as I have.
